Tottenham-2 vs. Wisla Krakow-1.

Darren Bent’s 73rd minute header gave Tottenham their first win of the season as they narrowly defeated Polish opposition Wisla Krakow 2-1.
David Bentley grabbed his first goal for Spurs on the 31st minute, only for Wisla to equalise exactly 67 seconds later.
Aaron Lennon’s cross was cooly converted by Bentley who started the match, unlike in Monday [...]

‘Arry drops a hint!

 Harry Redknapp has fueled speculation about a proposed move to Tottenham for classy midfielder Lassan Diarra by dropping a major hint about the players future in an interview.

The newspapers have had a field day- all day Gus Poyet has been linked to Newcastle or confirmed he’s staying at Spurs.

Pavlyuchenko Plea Falls on Deaf Ears

Juande Ramos plea to Russian manager Gus Hiddink about resting Roman Pavlyuchenko tomorrow has fallen on deaf ears. Hiddink has stated that he will play the new Spurs striker in tomorrows international against Wales.

Hypocritical Newcastle fail in Owen offload plan

Rumours are spreading fast speculating Daniel Levy is about to make a scapegoat out of Damien Comolli by sacking him.
