Spurs to Hunt For New Goalie

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

Heurelho Gomes put in a stunning performance yesterday, winning a point for Tottenham after saving a curling Ryan Giggs free-kick. He has now been the man of the match in the last two Tottenham games.
However in yesterday’s press conference, Redknapp admitted that he wants a new goalkeeper to fight for a position alongside Gomes.
“I’d like [...]

Tottenham-0 vs Manchester United-0

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

A resilient and spirited Tottenham side grabbed a point in an entertaining clash at White Hart Lane. Both sides spurned chances, most notably Modric for Tottenham and Ferdinand for Man Utd, as the game ended in a 0-0 stalemate- a fair reflection of both teams performances.

Tottenham were the better team in the first half, forcing Edwin [...]

West Ham-0 vs. Tottenham Hotspur-2

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

Tottenham retained their good run of form against London rivals West Ham and made it 9 wins out of 12 for new gaffer ‘Arry.
The game was a close fought affair, with West Ham putting the ball in the net in just 22 minutes, profiting off a Jermaine Jenas own goal. However, Jenas was adjudged to [...]

Didn’t See That One Coming…Ramos and Real

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

They say that football is an unpredictable game and that was epitomised earlier today, as former Spurs boss Juande Ramos was appointed manager of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are currently lying at 5th place in the Spanish league, a whole 9 points behind arch enemies Barcelona. Ironically, the final nail in the coffin for [...]

Express Yourself

Monday, December 8th, 2008

Many a man has delved deep into the question “what does Harry Redknapp tell his players before a match?” and yet never found the answer. The secrets of his motivational skills have been left esoteric. Until now. I beleive that iPods have been banned from the team coach, and instead, Charles Wright’s “Express Yourself” is played [...]

‘Arry worried about ‘Ammers

Monday, December 8th, 2008

Harry Redknapp has slammed former Spurs manager Juande Ramos for cutting the size of the Tottenham squad too drastically in the summer transfer window. Harry made his comments before tonight’s London derby, as Tottenham look to bounce back from the Everton defeat with a win over Redknapp’s former club, West Ham.
Since his arrival, Redknapp has [...]

Report Card #1. Roman Pavlyuchenko

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

OK, so this is a new idea and it could either sink or swim. I might start a topic in the forum and see wheter people want to see more or wheter I’m wasting my time. In the meantime comments at the bottom of the page would be much appreciated.
As for the article, seeing as [...]

Former Spurs right-back Stephen Carr has called time on his playing career, after making 304 appearences for both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Mansion Stadium?

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

After my recent article about a proposed move to the Olympic Stadium, my worries have seemingly been addressed. Daniel Levy has confirmed that Tottenham will be moving to a new 60,000 seater stadium. White Hart Lane has a capacity of just 36,000, with 20,000 fans on the waiting list for a season ticket. Levy also confirmed that, due [...]
